FLINDERS ARTS SHOW

 

June 11, 2010 to June 14, 2010

 

The Flinders Art Show, now in it's 43rd year, is a showcase of local artistic talent. Exhibiting over 400 works, the Flinders Art Show raises money for a myriad of Charities on the Peninsula.

The Art Show offers a number of awards, including the Youth Encouragement Award for under 18's.

This year the festivities will include the opening on Friday the 11th of June, running from 7:00 to 10:00 PM with drinks and refreshments available (with an entrance fee of $25). The show continues with art demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday.

 

The works will be exhibited in the Flinders Community Hall

Admission Fee: $5

The vignerons of the Mornington Peninsula celebrate the June Queen’s Birthday long weekend with Winter Wine Weekend, a calendar 'must' since its inception in 1988. Many well known producers come together and launch the Weekend at one venue, all undercover – rarely will anyone find over 50 Mornington Peninsula producers in one spot at any one time.
